Slabosti pravosuđa - prijetnja reformama

Summary:
ZAGREB – The draft Constitutional Law on the Protection and Rights of Minorities has entered its first reading in the Croatian parliament, the Sabor. According to the article, this law, together with reforms of the judicial system are “major demands the international community is making of Croatia.”

Croatia was required to pass the Constitutional Law on the Protection and Rights of Minorities as part of its accession into the Council of Europe in 1996. Peter Semneby, chief of the OESC mission to Croatia points out that Serbia and Montenegro have already passed their law, and that it is of high quality.
