Summary:
A two-day conference (Apr. 17-18) in Krasiczyn, Poland with the participation of Polish and Ukrainian scholars includes 30 panel discussions and an exhibition: “Poles-Ukrainians 1939-1947,” that will also be shown in Rzeszów, Lublin, and Warsaw.

The conference is under the honorary patronage of Poland’s President, Aleksander Kwasniewski, who expressed his regrets regarding Operation “Vistula,” and condemned the collective punishment that it brought upon the resettled population (that included both Ukrainians and Lemkos).
