БУЛИ 90 ШКОЛЯРЕ
(Ruske Slovo, 16 August 2002)
Summary:
In June, Croatia’s Union of Rusyns and Ukrainians (Sojuz) held an eight-day summer school on the island of Hvar in the Adriatic. The school was sponsored by the Croatian government. This was the first time the annual event was held on the Dalmatian coast, which allowed the 90 students – half Rusyns, half Ukrainians – to enjoy the beach after their daily classes. Aside from Rusyn and Ukrainian language lessons, students also learned about the two communities’ history, literature, culture and history.
