CROATIA. On 21 March, the Croatian government approved funding for its national minorities, among them the Rusyns. The overall total was 19 million kunas (USD 2.3 million), with the Serbian minority receiving the largest share.

Rusyns and Ukrainians were grouped together as one category; they received 800,000 kunas (USD 98,000). They will also benefit indirectly from the 700,000 kunas (USD 85,000) allotted for general minority programs and the 15,00 kunas (USD 1,800) allotted for the expert advisory services of the governmental Office for Minorities.
