Summary:
On 25 May, during the Second International Biennial of Lemko-Rusyn Culture, the preparatory committee for the World Forum of Rusyn Youth met in Krynica, Poland.

Committee members were pleased to announce they have made contact with young Rusyns in Ukraine, Poland and the Czech Republic, joining the already organized Rusyn youth of Slovakia and Yugoslavia.

An important first step towards greater cooperation will be participation by young Polish Rusyns in the first major event organized by the Rusyn Youth Movement of Slovakia, a concert entitled “The Rusyn Folk Song in the Lives of Young People.”

Another important step will be the International Summer Camp, to be held from 22 to 25 August at the Rusyn village of Komloška, in Hungary. The camp will gather young Rusyns from across Europe.
