Summary:
This year’s Medžilabirci 40th Festival of Culture and Sport will feature the first major event organized by the Rusyn Youth Movement of Slovakia, a concert entitled “Rusyn National Song in the Lives of Young People.” The concert will be held on 30 June as the final event of the festival.

Prague’s IGNIS will perform along with the Medžilabirci folklore group "Kamjana." The event will also feature a short program prepared by local students, and will be followed by a “folk party” with Rusyn songs performed in modern styles by Roland from the village of Čirč.
