Mistrz łemkowskiej literatury

Summary:
Thirty years of cultural work by the heart and soul of the Lemko community in Poland, Piotr Trochanowski/Petro Trokhanovskii (b. 1947), was celebrated at a special event in Krynica, organized under the auspices of the County and City Public Library of Stary Sącz [Powiatowa i Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna w Starym Sączu], and the Public Library in Krynica [Biblioteka Publiczna Gminy Krynicy-Zdroju].
Trochanowski, known also under his artistic pseudonym, Petro Murianka, received congratulations and gifts from the local administration (including the head of Nowy Sącz County Jan Golonka, and the Mayor of Krynica Jan Golba), as well as from various Lemko organizations, friends, and relatives. Zbigniew Siatkowski, Ph.D., spoke about his poetry, while Helena Duć-Fajfer, Ph.D., offered a biographical sketch. The event was concluded with a poetical presentation by the jubilarian.
