Summary:
The editor’s letter in this issue of Ruske Slovo clearly sets the newspaper above the current polemics regarding the issue of whether to form a single Rusyn-Ukrainian National Council, as mandated by the new Serbian minority law, or whether to form indivudual councils for the two groups:

Ruske Slovo, as the only Rusyn newspaper in our country, which also wants to be the newspaper of all Rusyns regardless of their political, national, religious or other views and orientations, does not want to arbitrate this matter.

Ramač writes that the paper will present both sides of the issue, as well as analyze their implications, but will not take sides in the matter.
